A clean and tidy sum for back injury

Brian Williams from Allerton, Liverpool, contacted Express Solicitors when he suffered a back injury at work.

A floor polishing machine was holding the bathroom door open and although Brian stepped over it, his foot landed on a laminated 'cleaning in progress' sign which had fallen from the door.

"I slipped on the sign and hurt my back on the cleaning machine as I fell backwards," explains Brian.

"Months of physiotherapy didn't help the pain and really, I just had to bide my time until it healed naturally."

"At first, my workplace denied liability but after the statements were exchanged, my company offered to settle for £3,500 which I accepted as a fair offer."
