Medical Records Analyst
Due to continued expansion, we are currently seeking a Medical Records Analyst to provide support to our busy Clinical Negligence department. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented administrator to join our team.
You will be responsible for collating medical records, preparing chronologies and identifying missing documents, and liaising with GP offices etc. to ensure records are complete. You may also have to undertake other administrative or paralegal tasks as required by the Clinical Negligence team or other departments.
Candidates must possess previous administrative experience, a methodical, organised approach and have achieved GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) Maths and English. Excellent I.T. skills are also required.
Previous experience of work in a legal or medical environment is desirable.
Law Costs Draftsperson
Working closely with the Head of Costs Management, this is an exciting opportunity to work within an a fast-growing in-house Costs Department, dealing with all aspects of costs. Ideally you will be educated to degree standard and possess experience working either in house or for an external supplier of costs drafting services. You will either be fully or part qualified. Advocacy experience is essential.
You will be responsible for the preparation of summary assessment schedules, breakdowns of costs at case conclusion and formal bills where detailed assessment or Part 8 proceedings are required; drafting replies to Points of Dispute, negotiating settlement of costs in litigated and non-litigated personal injury cases, and advising fee-earners regarding costs disputes.
The ideal candidate will be ALCD qualified or part-qualified, or qualified by significant experience, have knowledge of time recording procedures, will have a flexible approach, and be able to respond to rapid changes in working schedules and priorities. He/she will be a committed and hard-working individual who enjoys operating in a pressurised and highly motivated team environment.
Hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm and salary is £25 - 30000 dependent on experience.

Trainee Law Costs Draftsperson
We are currently looking for a Trainee Law Costs Draftsperson to join our in-house Costs Department. Reporting to the firm’s Head of Costs Management, this is an exciting opportunity with excellent development prospects for the right candidate.
The role will involve preparation of summary assessment schedules, breakdowns of costs at case conclusion and formal bills where detailed assessment are required. You will draft replies to Points of Dispute, and negotiate settlement of costs in litigated and non-litigated claimant personal injury cases.
The ideal candidate will be demonstrably numerically skilled, and have GCSE passes (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C or above. Analytical skills and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will consistently produce work which is highly accurate and well-presented, and enjoy operating in a pressurised and highly motivated team environment.
Hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm and salary is £13 - 14000, dependent on experience.

Admin Assistant
Due to continued expansion and internal promotions we are currently recruiting for an Administrative and General Office Assistant to provide office and reception support to our busy team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented administrator to join our team. Duties will include admin support such as typing, filing, faxing and photocopying; sorting, scanning and franking of mail; reception duties including answering the telephone in a polite and professional manner, and providing general support around the office where required. Candidates should possess GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, administrative experience, experience of working in a customer-facing role and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Clinical Negligence Lawyer

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Negligence, we would expect the successful candidate to have around 3 years’ proven experience in conducting claimant clinical negligence cases. Litigation Assistant
Due to continued expansion and internal promotions we are currently recruiting for a number of Litigation Assistants within our New Client Team. Candidates should be educated to degree level and have completed the LPC or BVC. You will need some knowledge of personal injury law, excellent organisational and time management skills, together with a good telephone manner.
The applicant should have the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy and work well within a busy team environment.
This position has excellent career prospects and we would expect those who apply to show they provide excellent levels of client care, legal ability and commitment, with a determination to progress and gain a fee earning position and/or training contract.
Candidates should also hold a full clean driving licence and having your own car would be seen as a distinct advantage.
