Sharon has a wealth of experience in all personal injury matters and has secured millions of pounds in compensation for her clients. Sharon was admitted as a solicitor in 1999 and joined Express in 2009. She is a member of the Law Society`s Personal Injury Panel and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Sharon has had many landmark cases in her career including being part of the legal team in the notable case of Ziemniak c ETPM Deep Sea Ltd {2003} EWCA Civ 636, which created a seafarer`s right of civil action.
Very recently Sharon secured a settlement of just short of a million pounds for her client who suffered a leg injury of the utmost severity in a motor cycle accident.
Sharon has a reputation for attention to detail and is dedicated to promoting her clients` interests through the litigation process not just in terms of the end result, but also in helping her clients to achieve the best recovery by ensuring wherever possible that they have access to good quality treatment and rehabilitation. She has a great empathy with her clients, who often suffer not just the devastating effects of a serious injury but also from the impact this has on their families, work and finances.
Sharon heads up the Employer's Liability team at Express Solicitors, dealing with all types of accidents at work. She also has a particular interest in cases involving psychiatric injury and has represented a number of nervous shock victims.
Sharon, originally from Preston, now lives in Staffordshire with her partner, son and cat Marmalade. In her spare time Sharon is a huge music lover and a passionate cook. She also enjoys reading, going to the gym and gardening.
