I see
Michael Schumacher has said 'sorry' for his dangerous manoeuvre against Rubens Barrichello at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday.
Schumacher Squeezed Driver Up Against Pit Wall
For those of you who missed it, the seven-time world champion and 'legend' of the sport Schumacher squeezed his former Ferrari team mate up against the pit wall, putting him on the grass as he fought to retain 10th place in the last few laps.
Some would argue that this is merely the latest example of Schumacher's ruthless streak, and that 'nice guys finish last'. But surely he went too far this time? He was lucky to escape with merely being penalised ten grid places for the next race, if you ask me.
At speeds of around 200mph, Schumacher put his and his fellow driver's lives in danger - not to mention the lives of the crew in the pit lane. Fortunately, there was no collision: the wall ended and Barrichello was able to pass into turn one.
Taking Evasive Action Can Lead To Accidents
On our roads, serious accidents regularly do occur, albeit at speeds much lower than in Formula One. A collision between two road users doesn't always have to take place for an accident to happen, sometimes a driver is forced to take evasive action because of a third party's dangerous driving.
If you have been forced to take evasive action to avoid a dangerous driver then you may be entitled to claim compensation on a 'no win no fee' basis.
