She is accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as a personal injury specialist having been an appointed panel member since 2005 further she is accredited as a Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Sharon specialises in dealing with complex and catastrophic injury cases with a special interest in cases involving psychiatric injury. She is a knowledgeable litigator and a skilled negotiator.
Known by her clients for being approachable and understanding she has many years of experience of how life changing a serious injury can be for her clients and their families.
Sharon cites her keen eye for detail as one of her strengths as a solicitor and her motto is always be prepared for the worse, then nothing can take you by surprise in this unpredictable area of the law.
In addition to running her own cases, Sharon heads a department that deals purely with employment liability work. She trains, mentors and develops her team to a very high standard in both legal and client care skills in this varied and interesting area of the law.
In keeping with the whole ethos of Express Sharon takes training and development very seriously, when asked for her favourite quote Sharon recalls the classic Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw who famously said `Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything`.
Sharon worked as part of the legal team in the notable case of Ziemniak v ETPM Deep Sea Ltd EWCA Civ 636, which created a sea farers right of civil action.
During her career Sharon has fought hard for justice and has successfully secure millions of pounds in compensation for her clients.

Sharon is a music fanatic with a wide taste from classical to techno but she has a particular fondness for Texas blues music citing Lightening Hopkins as one of her favourites. A regular at venues large and small she often goes to hear live music and especially enjoyed seeing American band, Wilco, of whom she is a big fan. She is also a keen amateur often entertaining friends and family on her ukulele.
Sharons spare time is limited, to relax she loves to cook and listen to music at the same time. She tries to find time to exercise a couple of times a week and is a great believer in the benefits of pliates having suffered a back injury herself.
