Laura Edgeley is a Senior Associate Solicitor at Express Solicitors, having been with the firm since 2006. She completed her training contract with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2008.

Laura specialises in Occupiers Liability and Public Liability claims. She is also extensively experienced in representing victims of sporting injuries and accidents involving horses. A passionate horse rider herself, Laura uses her knowledge of these animals, their behaviour and industry best practise to ensure her clients receive the full amount of fair compensation that they deserve.

Recent successes include securing a fee of £35,000 for a client who tripped on shop frontage, a fees of around £5,000 for individuals injured in a church and while horse riding.

Laura went to John Moores University and then on to Manchester Metropolitan University to complete her post-graduate studies. Laura originally worked in a criminal law firm but decided that personal injury was the area that she felt most passionate about.

With a surname likes hers, you'd be forgiven for thinking Laura must be a Stockport County fan. Yet she is passionate about a team even further down the league pyramid: lowly Witton Albion FC of the Evo Stick First Division North (we had to Google this).

A keen sailor, Laura is a member of her local branch committee of the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI), a charity that she is passionate about and spends many hours fundraising for and as previously mentioned, Laura is never more content than when on horseback, specifically her own beast Barney.

A happy go lucky character, Hakuna Matata is her favourite phrase (it means no worries for the rest of your days, for the uninitiated).
