Hailing from Cheshire, Asher undertook her Law degree at Staffordshire University before completing her LPC at the College of Law in Christleton, Chester.

In quiet moments, Asher relaxes by tinkling the ivories whenever she gets the chance, having played piano since she was a child. No doubt her regular gym sessions and in particular her Pilates sessions help maintain a perfect posture on the stool.

Known for her acerbic wit, Asher is fond of the flamboyant playwright Noel Coward and his quote in which he expounded the benefits of a good stroll: I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

Asher Beresford has been an Assistant Solicitor at Express Solicitors since April 2011. She forms part of the Clinical Negligence department, headed up by Margaret Bailey-Tsavalas. They represent clients in a variety of cases where an individual has suffered as a result of substandard treatment at the hands of the NHS or private healthcare professionals.

Asher deals with a range of clinical negligence cases including orthopaedic, gynaecology, stillbirth, psychiatric/psychological claims, misdiagnosis, and other surgical claims.

After qualifying as a solicitor within the field of Clinical Negligence in January 2008 Asher specialised further, working for a number of years for a firm dealing solely in Dental Negligence claims. Vastly experienced in dental negligence cases, Asher gained broader experience of other types of Clinical Negligence claims at another law firm before assuming her present position at Express Solicitors.

Asher cites client care as one of her strengths as a solicitor and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
