Salmaan Shahid is a Trainee Solicitor at Express Solicitors, where he specialises in Road Traffic Accident (RTA) cases. Overseen by Partner Rachel Flannigan, Salmaan handles a variety of cases including claims involving car accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents and uninsured driver/Motor Insurer’s Bureau cases.

Renowned for his no-nonsense approach in litigation, Salmaan uses this when dealing with insurers to secure the maximum fair amount of compensation quickly and efficiently for his clients. A background in sales and customer service enables him to communicate effectively with his clients, and to tailor his services to each individual client.

Recent successes include an RTA involving ice worth £7,500, a bus accident worth £5,500 and several other four figure sums for RTA victims.

From Manchester, Salmaan studied Law and Business at Keele University, before taking the Legal Practitioners Course (LPC) at Chester University.

Salmaan is a highly organised individual, a skill not only recognised in his litigation but also in his tireless stewardship of Express Solicitors football events.  Over the years, he has been responsible for hiring pitching and equipment as well as cajoling solicitors into playing inter-firm matches as well as those against other chambers and other firms.

In an attempt to steal a march over his colleagues and opponents, Salmaan regularly attends a gym plays football recreationally. To unwind, he indulges in both world cinema and literature.
