Fiona Graham

Fiona-Graham

Fiona Graham is a Manager at Express Solicitors. Supervising the firm’s New Claims Team (NCT), she oversees the work of fifteen Litigation Assistants, including two team leaders.

NCT is where claims brought by members of the public are initially processed and evaluated. After consultation with Partners or Senior Solicitors, should there be good grounds for a claim a Litigation Executive will make an appointment for a representative to visit the potential client.

As Express Solicitors continues to grow and move into new premises, so will NCT. Fionas team is expected to comprise twenty Litigation Executives shortly.

In addition to the above responsibilities, she also works alongside the in-house IT team to help manage and maintain the computer systems in the office.

Fiona is currently undertaking a Masters degree at Manchester Metropolitan University. She is combining her studies in Human Resources Management with her role at Express.

Prior to joining Express Solicitors in October 2009, Fiona gained experience of managing within large call-centres in the travel industry. Previous employers include Emirates, Flight Centre and Travlocity.

Fiona is originally from Melbourne, Australia, but has held British citizenship since 2011. The identity plot thickens further as she reveals she has represented the Swedish national team in a European Lacrosse competition.

Her love for the sport knows no boundaries though, as she has also represented her country of birth in the Lacrosse World Cup. Oh, and shes currently the President of North England Lacrosse Association.

Living in Heaton Mersey with her husband (a Great Britain capped lacrosse player, of course), Fiona keeps fit with regular lunchtime runs and chasing after the family dog: Madeleine, a lovely big cuddly German Shepherd.

She is also an intrepid traveller, having climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, been to Everest base camp and overlanded from China through Tibet and all the way into Nepal.

The UK market for hair products is estimated to be £175million, with millions of women (and probably a few men) regularly dying their hair. Many will do this without a second thought, seemingly safe in the knowledge that the products available at salons, chemists and supermarkets have been rigorously tested and are safe. A client [...]

Poor Supervision Cause Of Child Injuries

We are currently working on a high volume of cases involving Child Injuries. Children are renowned for getting into the odd scrape as they explore new terrain and boisterously play, but unfortunately more serious accidents can occur should they not be supervised properly by parents, schools and nurseries. Parents pay good money, whether that is [...]
